- Award Criteria
-
Each week our editorial staff recognizes one web site that stands out
for its high quality design, content, and potential value to our users.
The internet is a big place, and it's difficult to locate high quality
information that's relevant to our needs. But once we find a good site,
it often times finds its way into the top drawer of our professional
toolbox. With our award, we try to call attention to sites that possess
those qualities.

If you have or know of a site with high quality unique content, let us
know. We're always on the lookout for new sites.
Any site can be considered for our award -- as long as it's related to
the engineering or design communities. We don't care if it's a
fancy-mega-hit-bazillion-user-behemoth-content site, or a low traffic
personal home page. If it's related to engineering or design, we'll
put it in the running. Just remember, the big thing with us is always
going to be quality content. All of our award winners have that in
common. A personal homepage with some links to other more popular
industry sites won't cut it. Neither will a site that's really a
brochure for a service or a product. We're looking for sites that are
destinations, not advertisements.
